The ezTCP SCG-5608 Console Server by Sollae Systems is an 8-port RS232 Serial to Ethernet converter. The device converts data from the Serial port to TCP or UDP and vice-versa. It is designed to work in an industrial environment.

With the SCG-5608, users can easily monitor the status of console ports over the network from anywhere in the world. It also helps to save time and energy by improving the efficiency of integrated management and control of many devices in diverse applications. The SCG-5608 supports TLS v1.2 security protocol, which encrypts data before sending it over the network. This allows the SCG-5608 to exchange data over the Internet securely. It also supports various features such as Separator settings and TELNET COM Port Control Option (RFC2217).

The SCG-5608 is equipped with two power ports: a DC 5V power input through DC jack, and a wide range (DC8.5V ~ 38V) power input through Terminal block. You can also use both of them simultaneously, one for the main power source and one for a backup power source, to make it work seamless even during the main power outage.
