🔌 Wiring & Connections
Two pairs of wires — no pins or connectors needed. Simply splice, solder, or crimp into your circuit.

Wire gauge: all leads are 22 AWG. For wire runs longer than 50cm, use a thicker gauge to minimize voltage drop — generally, place the longer run on the input (higher voltage) side.
⚠️ Important: Double-check polarity before powering up. Reversing the input wires can damage the converter, and reversing the output wires can damage your connected device. We recommend an inline fuse on the positive input wire in addition to the module's built-in fuse.
⚠️ Important Notes
Your input power source must be able to supply at least as much power as your load will draw from the output, divided by the converter's efficiency (~85.4%). At full rated output (15W), that means at least ~17.6W available from your input source. If the input source can't keep up, the output voltage will fold back (sag) rather than deliver the full 5V.
