Operating Notes:
As with any DC-DC converter, the input DC power supply powering this converter must be capable of providing the maximum power drawn by your load. If the input supply is not capable of providing the power, the converter will fold back the output voltage as necessary. Example: If your load draws 2.5A at 6V (15W), and the input supply is only capable of providing 12V at 1A (12W), the maximum output voltage the converter will deliver is 4.8V (12W/2.5A).

No wire diagram provided would that be too much to ask for. Very irritating
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of a wire diagram. The wiring instructions are actually printed on the module's label. Just to clarify, the red and black wires are for the INPUT +V and Ground, while the red and yellow wires are for the Output +V and Ground. We hope this helps.
Used it in my 48 Ford to step down the voltage to the guages. One did all three guages and it mounted well on the back of the dash. Much easier than calculating resisters.
Perfect fix for running 6 volt guages when converting system to 12 volts.
