The CHIPSEN RCPORT-TD420 Bluetooth Class 1 Wireless RS232 Serial Adapter with USB-A connector converts RS232 serial data to Bluetooth and transmits and receives it wirelessly to other compatible devices.

The RCPORT-TD420 uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.3, the latest Bluetooth standard. Featuring long-distance Class 1 (+20dBm) capability, it supports 1,000 feet of wireless transmit distance and can be extended up to 4,000 feet using optional antennas.

Any TD400 Series device can communicate with any other TD400 Series device. For example, a TD400 (with a DSUB connector) can be attached to a piece of test equipment, and communicate with a TD420 (with a USB connector) attached to a PC.
