The CHIPSEN RCPORT-TD450 Bluetooth Class 1 Wireless RS422/485 Serial Adapter with a DSUB9 Male connector converts RS422 or RS485 serial data to Bluetooth and transmits and receives it wirelessly to other compatible devices. 

The RCPORT-TD450 uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.3, the latest Bluetooth standard. Featuring long-distance Class 1 (+20dBm) capability, it supports 1,000 feet of wireless transmit distance and can be extended up to 4,000 feet using optional antennas.

Any TD400 Series device can communicate with any other TD400 Series device. For example, a TD450 (with a DSUB connector) can be attached to a piece of test equipment, and communicate with a TD420 (with a USB connector) attached to a PC.
