SA818S-CE UHF or VHF 1W Analog RF Radio Transceiver Module w/ RDA1846S IC

The NiceRF SA818S is a cost-effective integrated professional walkie-talkie module using the RDA1846S chip with a built-in high-speed microcontroller, high-performance RF transceiver chip and RF power amplifier. It provides a standard serial port to communicate with the module so that the relevant parameters of the module and the transceiver can be set quickly and easily.

Users only need to connect an audio amplifier, microphone, and speaker to this module to work as a compact 1W RF transceiver or walkie-talkie covering the VHF or UHF bands. With the module's simplified interface and ultra-small size, it can also be easily and quickly embedded in various handheld and mobile devices to provide a standalone UHF or VHF transceiver.

The SA818S strictly uses lead-free technology for production and testing, meets RoHS and Reach standards, and is CE-RED certified. The SA818S walkie-talkie module adds an LNA circuit based on the SA818, and the sensitivity is increased by 4dBm. For the entire frequency range of 400-470MHz, the power output fluctuation is less than 1dB, and the low power can achieve an error of 27dBm+/-1dBm from 400-470MHz. The software and hardware interfaces are the same as before and are compatible with each other.

There are two versions of the SA818S covering the VHF and UHF frequency bands. The only difference is the frequency range. All other parameters are the same, including module size, interface, software protocol, etc. The two modules’ frequency ranges are:

• SA818S-CE UHF: UHF band 400 - 480MHz 
• SA818-CE VHF: VHF band 134 - 174MHz
