The SIG-5561 from Sollae Systems is an industrial-grade Ethernet temperature gateway designed for commercial and industrial environments. It connects to a 3-wire PT100 RTD sensor, displays real-time temperature on its built-in LED, and streams data securely to the free Sollae IoT Cloud via MQTT over TLS for effortless remote monitoring vie a web interface and email notifications.

No complex wiring or software installs required. The SIG-5561 is plug-and-play simple:

  1. Connect Hardware (2 minutes): Plug in DC 5V power, Ethernet cable (auto-sensing straight/cross-over), and 3-wire PT100 sensor to the terminal block.
  2. Download spFinder Tool (free from Sollae site): Search and auto-login (default: sig-5561/sig-5561).
  3. Network Setup (1 minute): Choose DHCP auto-IP or static – save and reboot.
  4. Register on Sollae Cloud (2 minutes): Sign up free at Sollae Cloud, enter the device's Client ID from spFinder, and it's online.
  5. Set Web and Email Alerts (1 minute): In the cloud dashboard, define high/low thresholds – get instant email notifications for out-of-range temps. Customize with Sollae Studio widgets or link to relays such as the SIG-5451 and SIG-5601 for automated control based upon the temperature settings. 

Total Setup: Under 10 minutes. Monitor via any web browser from anywhere – real-time dashboards, alarms, and historical data included free.

The optional PT100 Temperature Sensor Probe is a 3-wire RTD sensor with a temperature measurement range of -50C to +200C.

NOTE: The SIG-5561 device supports PT100 sensors that have a measurement range of -200℃ ~ 850℃ (-328℉ ~ 1562℉). But the measurement range depends on the PT100 sensor. We provide a PT100 sensor that has the measurement range of -50℃ ~ +200℃ as an option. If users need a larger range, use another PT100 sensor.
